My name is Kris Groves. I am married and have 2 children. I love to power walk and have competed in many marathons and half marathons over the last 20 years. I also love camping and ATV riding with my family. One of my weaknesses is my love for Mountain Dew. It is not uncommon to see a 52 ounce drink on my desk at any given time. My education background includes a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Southern Utah University and a Masters Degree in School Counseling from Utah State University. I have worked in Iron County School District since 2011 in various settings and at various levels. I am passionate about helping students and assisting them in finding the tools they need to be successful in their education and throughout their lives. I am very excited to be the school counselor at SEA and Iron County Alternative Programs.
